Compact sedans may not be as popular now as they were before, but there’s still a market for them. MG Philippines is one of the carmakers to launch an entry in this segment, in the form of the MG GT. Locally, it’s available in two variants: the naturally aspirated 2023 MG GT Alpha, priced at P1,015,888, and the turbocharged MG GT Sport, priced at P1,193,888.

The non-turbo MG GT Alpha is what we’re reviewing for this Drives video. And what does this car offer to compact-sedan buyers? Watch our video to find out, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Presenter: Jason Tulio
Editor: Teddy Garcia Jr.
Videographer: Charles Banaag

0:00 Intro
0:25 Ride and handling
0:55 Engine performance
1:35 Cockpit
3:35 Backseat
4:12 Exterior
4:50 Prices
5:05 Pros and cons
6:10 Conclusion and score

Dig cars?
Read more about cars and motoring here: http://www.topgear.com.ph
Like us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/TopGearPH
Tweet us: http://www.twitter.com/TopGearPH
Follow us on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/TopGearPH
Join us on Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@topgearph

#topgearph #topgearphreviews #mggt

LFCJ9MXXBUQD5MNP
OIZH4ZSZIJVFVTHH
ERN243PMYFTYPYHY
OKK74ILVOYL29MHQ
RP2PHEI33NEUETWX
